ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST
End Homelessness Vermont (EHVT) is looking for an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This position is in person at the Vermont Capitol in Montpelier Tuesday–Friday
and some Mondays during the legislative session (generally mid January – end of May), and generally remote otherwise, with some in-person days throughout the state.

Main Responsibilities: This is a wide-ranging support role — no two days look exactly alike. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Administrative & Operational Support
• Supporting the Executive Director and broader team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks
• Managing communications, files, spreadsheets, and organizational systems
• Helping maintain EHVT’s digital presence and back-end systems
• Pitching in wherever the work takes you — we value flexibility, initiative, and willingness to learn

Direct Service Support
• Assisting with fair hearings before the Vermont Human Services Board
• Supporting client intake and referrals through EHVT’s crisis hotline
• Engaging with clients, providers, community partners, and volunteers in various settings across the state

Legislative & Policy Support
• Monitoring bills and policy developments relevant to EHVT’s work
